Born on February 8,1951. He succeeded to climb the length of Dhaulagiri Ⅱ,Ⅲ & Ⅴ, in 1979 at his age of 28. Tried twice to climb the north face of Chomolungma winter season and reached the highest point at the time（8,450m）. He also succeeded to ascend Baekdu-san, D.P.R.Korea, in severe winter season. Has experienced the summits of 8,000m high mountains in Himalaya, like Chomolungma & Manaslu for seven times, He is also known as an explorer, has a record as a first crosser of the Inland Sea by sea kayak and experienced a crossing of the Korea Strait. In 1990, he started the project of “Research of Wind in Heights” in Alaska. For this project, he reached the summit of Mt. McKinley for twenty times. He was awarded the prize of Memorial Academic Award Chichibunomiya for this research. Now he is the leader of “Research of Wind in Mt. McKinley” at International Arctic Research Center, University of Alaska.

He is known as an excellent mountaineering guide for the Alpes, Mt.McKinley, the Andes and the South Pole. Has also experienced as a stant man for the movie of Mr. Naomi Uemura. He often coordinates TV broadcasting programs about mountaineering or natures and appears on them. He is an expert in guiding to ascend Everest and tried to for six times. The Wowwow Inc. broadcasted his tries for Everest.

Born on July 14, 1972. She is now known as a excellent climber though her hometown is on the plains so not good to train mountaineering. Surprisingly, she disliked gymnastics in her childhood and is fond of reading. In her youth, she happened to know Mr.Naomi Uemura, famous Japanese Mountaineer and decided to ascend Mt,Denali where he lost. At the college, she joined a cycling club and was climbing mountains on her cycle trip in Japan and overseas. She joined some mountain clean-up projects by Mr. Ken Noguchi and has experienced the summits of Everest and Manaslu. As she seeks for more adventurous mountaineering style, she ascended the summits of Golden Peak（7,200m）, Lila Peak（6,200m）in Pakistan, Shivling（6,543m）and Kamet（7,756m）in India. She succeeded to reach these summits via new route and ascended by so called an “alpine style. She was awarded the prize of the Piolets d’Or for the first ascent of the Sourh-East face of Kamet.
